What does a girl do when she's bed ridden for the next week? She shops for shoes online!!! I got an email today from one of my favorite shops in LA about new shoes and old shoes on sale. As it turns out I was one click away from being reunited with one of my favorite Swedish designers ACNE! Hoping the next time my screen flashes you've got mail, the sender will read Karen Walker!!! So my BFF across the pond Melissa Carew has been creating quite a wave in the London Fashion pool and it looks like her efforts are coming to shore! Here she is in a vintage Pucci dress that I helped her find in New York many many many moons ago. Mel and I have a never ending love affair with accessories. Hats, earrings, necklaces, gloves I mean you name it. If its an accessory we will probably drool over it or go on and on about how we need it until we got it. One thing that we hardly ever talk to deeply about is shoes, I am without a doubt a shoe girl, Mel is more into the style and definitely the clothes. But I'm sure we will both agree on all of these selections. Having a best friend is like having a good conscious. They guide you to the good inside and help keep you their. My best friend Melissa is like that. She always exudes the better possibilities in life, the good side of living and of course the moral. Melissa also has a million blogs that she updates regularly. Today I discovered yet another one that she made for another special person. I was so moved at some of her post that I decided to put my girl on Yummy, because hey she deserves it.
